Dr Lars Kuhn is the new NMR Lab Manager and staff scientist.of HYPERMAG and Center for Magnetic Resonance.
Dr Lars Kuhn has long-standing experience in the field of Hyperpolarized NMR spectroscopy.
He did his MSc thesis in Parahydrogen induced Polarization at University of Bonn, Institute for Physical and Theoretical Chemistry, and exploited the photo-Chemically induced Dynamic Nuclear Polarization method for his PhD project in Physical Chemistry at University of Oxford, Institute for Physical and Theoretical Chemistry.
At HYPERMAG, Kuhn's main responsibility will be to support our research projects in the field by maintaining and developing our NMR spectrometers, instrumentation and other infrastructure, as well as acquiring and analyzing NMR data.
He comes from a similar position at the bioNMR facility of Astbury Centre for Structural Molecular Biology, Faculty of Biological Sciences, University of Leeds.
